大学英语教学中的德育渗透

文沿承中国传统文化——儒家思想"文以载道"的观点,简单阐述何谓德育,德育的历史发展进程,在大学英语教学中渗透德育的必要性和可行性。进而,重点论述了实施过程中应倡导的核心德育理念,应把握的重要德育原则,以及应采用的具体德育方法。笔者力图借助大学英语教学渗透德育。借此,在提高大学生英语水平的同时,提升他们的道德水准和人格魅力。     

Accountants’ cognitive styles and ethical reasoning: A comparison across 15 years

Recent attention to accountants’ ethics in the news, in professional practice, and by academia leads to questions about the ethical and cognitive characterization of students selecting accounting careers. We employ the Myers/Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) for assessing cognitive styles, and the Defining Issues Test (DIT) for assessing ethical reasoning to study differences between two groups of accounting graduates and new hires entering the accounting profession across a period of 15 years. We show that the dominant cognitive make-up of accountants has not changed significantly over the study period, which is consistent with prior research. Also, we hypothesize and provide evidence that this dominant style is associated with lower levels of ethical reasoning (as measured by the DIT) than other cognitive styles. The ethical reasoning scores are lower for the 2005 sample than for the 1990 sample. This result may be attributable to age, gender, grade point average, or political orientation; however, incomplete data in our sample does not allow us to make definitive conclusions regarding these control variables. We discuss the implications of these findings for curriculum development and professional practice.     

Ideological maps of consumer education

The case is made for the merit of discovering and owning the ideological and paradigmatic underpinnings of consumer‐related education initiatives. After briefly profiling two camps of dominant and contending/emergent world views (ideologies and attendant paradigms), two ideological maps of consumer education are developed and applied, providing a scaffold for future deliberations about the import of world views in consumer education.     

浅谈今后我国高等教育发展的方向和对策

改革开放以后，中国高等教育经历了较大的发展，但与西方发达国家的高等教育相比，还有较大差距。因此，我们可借鉴美国高等教育发展的成功经验，加快改革高等教育体制，发展规模适度、形式多样、层次多样的中国高校，提高高校为经济和社会服务的水平，使我国高等教育体制更具活力和竞争力。     

探析德国职业教育教学改革中的行动导向法

在普通教育大环境中成长起来的职业教育研究，无论是教育内容所传授的知识类型，还是教育对象所具有的智力类型，都有其特殊性。我国职业教育改革的重点，迫切需要彻底打破学科、“大专业”体系，恢复职业教育的“本来面目”，其结果必定是教学方法的改革。在德国，作为一种已经被实践证明的有效方法，行动导向法在职业能力的培养中体现出了突出的优越性。加强行动导向教学法的研究，总结出一套适合我国国情的职业教育理论，进而推进我国职教事业的发展，在我国具有重大的现实意义。     

Towards a Model for Teacher Development in Technology Education: From Research to Practice

This paper reports on a series of interventions in New Zealand schools in order to enhance the teaching of, and learning in, technology as a new learning area. It details the way in which researchers worked with teachers to introduce technological activities into the classroom, the teachers' reflections on this process and the subsequent development of activities. These activities were undertaken in 14 classrooms (8 primary and 6 secondary).The research took into account past experiences of school-based teacher development and recommendations related to teacher change. Extensive use was made of case-studies from earlier phases of the research, and of the draft technology curriculum, in order to develop teachers' concepts of technology and technology education. Teachers then worked from these concepts to develop technological activities and classroom strategies. The paper also introduces a model that outlines factors contributing to school technological literacy, and suggests that teacher development models will need to allow teachers to develop technological knowledge and an understanding of technological practice, as well as concepts of technology and technology education, if they are to become effective in the teaching of technology.
